March in Review
At Hudson Pointe at Riverdale, quality care is our highest priority. We treat people beyond their medical needs—we care for their personal well-being.
Each month, we offer our residents a variety of engaging and therapeutic programs. This month our regularly held programs were joined by a few special celebrations and some new activities. Join us as we reflect on March at Hudson Pointe.
March is Women’s History Month. To celebrate and honor women everywhere, many of our events and activities this month focused on strong women throughout history and their contributions.
Activities included a lecture on International Women’s Day, and special Women’s Group meetings held throughout the month. Cookies were served.
You can find more information about this special month here.
Board games and puzzles are a favorite afternoon pastime at Hudson Pointe.
Our collection of table games and activities can provide hours of entertainment and favorites include chess, checkers, Bingo, and more.
This year we decided to combine our St. Patrick’s Day party with our monthly birthday party into one huge event for all to enjoy.
Cake was served as residents enjoyed listening to our live musical performer!
To welcome Spring we hosted a gardening program where our residents got to use their green thumbs.
Everyone got to choose a seed to plant and prepare their own pots with soil, nutrients, and water.
Be sure to check in next month to check on our plants’ progress!
